Monologue:
Identify and explain the literary devices in your monologue. Not every monologue has examples of all the devices.
Alliteration - From forth the fatal loins of these two foes (f sound) Metaphor - none Simile - none Repetition - Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean (civil), two households, two foes, two hours (two) Rhyme - ABABCDCDEFEFGG Rhythm - unstressed, stressed pattern in the lines
Translate your monologue into ASL, incorporating the as many of the literary devices discussed as you can, but still making it poetic. Please use capital letters to denote sign glosses (i.e. RUN), identify role shifts (R or L), and any other components of ASL that help to make the translation clear to another reader.

Describe how you applied the literary devices to your monologue translation.
Alliteration - GENERATION/CLASH, BLOOD/SPREAD, FALL-IN-LOVE/KILL, CLASH/SOLVE, CHILDREN/DEAD Metaphor - none Simile - none Repetition - FAMILY, GUILTY, DEATH/DIE/DEAD Rhyme - DIE & DEAD lines 9 & 11 - I didn't put much attention to this Rhythm - each line has about 4 signs/4 emphasized movements In addition, I worked to hint at the time line of the story by setting the Montagues on the right and the Capulets on the left. From there each event (guilt, birth, falling in love, death) occurs in the family and order it occurs in the play.
